Low Rider Fuel Guage

Just brought home a 2003 FXDL Fuel guage does not work The tech sections of the forum have links to troubleshooting but when you try to access them they are not there. Anyone know of any good links? Not that a gas guage is a big deal. Hell, this is the first bike I have owned that had one. Would be nice to see it work tho.

I have an 02 lowrider and believe me your better off just using the trip meter and watching the miles. The gas gauges on these things suck. When mine shows close to empty I stop and fill up and it only takes about 2 gallons to fill it up. The gauge is a joke. Just my .02.

I have an 06 Lowrider and the gas gauge bites. After 130 miles the low gas light comes on. Just set your B trip meter to 0 each time you fill up and at 160 miles go get some gas
