Default I scored an inverted fork

Hey guys, I scored an inverted fork off of my buddy's 06 Nighttrain (he is going to a springer). I was checking things over and it is not a direct bolt on to my 07 FXDB. Is there anyone that has managed to convert over to one of these? if so, what's involved? I know that my kneck is taller and the stem is thicker. Can the stem be separated from the lower triple and than have mine installed?.

the only difference in install should be the fork stops...(and wheel situation)
the stem should be the correct length and width...

Had to have been a replacement fork since the stock Nighttrain fork (FXST) is same as the old 41mm Wide Glide front end.

The MoCo makes an inverted front end, or could be an aftermarket ... in either case, I am surprised it is not a bolt on (other than fork stop, as noted).

The fork is an option from the Moco. It is made by Mazorchi; inverted, black all over.

So you got a fork from your buddy, cool now you just have to buy the second one. lol sorry couldent resist.

Did you get the tree's as well? Isnt the night train a diferent rake? You might want to check the length of the setup.

It will fit for sure... the length will be longer than your stock setup (2" more than likely)
also again different wheel or spacing kit is necessary(probably a wide glide wheel axle and spacers)
so If you can get a 2" lowering spring, new wheel, and accept that the forks will have less turning radius due to them using your frame as a stop and not your neck, you'll be good to go...
One thing for sure, if I had had a 49mm front end I would not change it for this inverted setup.
