swingarm changes between model years
I have an 04 fxdx and am interested in the solo bag made by licks. Their website states that the bag fits 06-09 models. I called licks up and the man I spoke with said that they had tested the bag on an 06 model and he was not sure if there were any differences in the swingarm between the years. The bag clamps to the swingarm in two places. Do you guys know if there are any changes to the swingarm? Thanks

the belt guards do not interchange... there are mounting point differences there...
This may not affect you being able to mount the bag though... call back and ask if they will return if it does not fit...
This will actually be mutually beneficial because if it does then they can advertise the bag for the older model dynas as well...
