I have the opposite problem. Have a hard time finding neutral sometimes. I wear steeltoe boots when riding and evry once in a while, can't get the right touch to find the neutral position. Have started to shift to neutral on the downshift from second to first, rather than shifting down to first, then looking for neutral.

 

Same here, I also rotated the shifter a little a accomodate the way my boot fits under it.
