When thinking of a fighter to align with, my choice would be either the F14 Tomcat, or the F15 Eagle .... the F4 was big, but it was not quick...

My love for Harley's started with "Then Came Bronson's" Sportster.

The FXDC is (IMO) a full-size version of a Sportster and the "C" gets you the fat bob tank and extra chrome doo dahs, etc. I especially love the script "Super Glide" on the battery cover.

Great bike, plan on keeping it for a long, long time. Mininal expense to bring it up to public standards (pipes, air cleaner, seat and handlebars).
