Welcome to the club. There is nothing like a Harley. This is my 3rd Harley. My first was a Sportster. Too small.
I have had my Wideglide for almost a year now. Like others have said, there is so much you can add to it to personalize it, but I like mine just how it is. (Did add sissy bar, SE pipes and some LED lites, but that didn't cost a fortune)

Hey vicsponjr,

What lights did you change to the LED's? Is the conversion difficult? Are there setups to do all 4 blinkers and tail-light? Also, did you get them online and if so do you remember the URL?

Lot of questions, sorry man, but I've read that the LED's do a better job of getting one seen by cagers in the day and night.

Welcome from Louisiana! I finally graduated from a Honda VTX1300 in February and got the bike I'd been dreaming about for 30 years! Never had a second thought!

congrats! I upgraded from a honda vlx600 to a black 09 FXD about a month ago. It was one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. Started with 8 miles, now have over 900. I have spent way too much time on this forum in the last month!
