Bought a 2009 Dyna Superglide today. Moving up from a tinker toy (yamaha V-star 650cc). I couldn't be more excited. Only got to ride it home before it got dark, so grand total of 26miles on the odometer. Been wanting one for a few years, and finally pulled the trigger. I guess one benefit of the bad economy was I managed to get the bike at MSRP without haggling.
I'd post some pics, but it is dark out. (you guys know what a bone stock superglide looks like anyway .
Cheers!!!!
Edit: Okay, here are some pics....
As you can see, I live in the desert, so I'm lucky enough to have year round riding. Never snows or rains.

Awesome man! Congrats on the new ride! Its been exactly one year today since I bought my Harley.. there's no better feeling brotha! I moved up from a Kawi vulcan 900 custom (very nice ride, by the way..) and there was just no better feeling when riding home my hog!
You'll find a great deal of information here, but I am forewarning you....... be prepared to spend some serious $$$$$$$ as these people have some amazing idea's on transforming your ride! Good luck man, and ride safe. And yes, everyone knows what a stock superglide looks like, but pics are still a must! Enjoy brotha!

Did the exact same thing back in July. Sold my 650 V-star to a friend of mine for a starter bike for him and his wife. Used the money to add extra down on my FXDC. Big change huh?... I love this bike!
Congratulations!!
I sold my Yamaha 535 and moved to the Harley ranks alittle over 2 months ago myself....I have to pinch myself at times.
Harleys are so much more fun!!!
Ya, I'm pumped. My wife thinks I'm crazy because I keep sneaking into the garage just to sit with it .
Just like posted above, I rode the VSTAR as my first bike for about 4 years. It was a great bike to learn on, but as time went on, I kept looking for another gear to shift into and the bike just started to feel small.
What can I say, I've got the FEVER!
P.S. I've been lurking on these forums for quite some time without posting and I've already got a list of want to do's just from reading, So I hear you about spending some scratch Adrian.
