Yea, I did the same thing. Got some nice chrome allens heads from Ace. And I thought I was being original. Great minds think alike!

Just lightly sand before spraying. The textured paint goes on easy with a few light coats.

Used a wrinkle black rattle can from HD. Matches the wrinkle black cover, engine, etc. Also used it on the horn cover, dip stick cap, and SE Stage 1 AC mounting plate.

Ride Safe.
