Deciding between the Bassani black Pro Streets and the V&H black short shots for Black Denim Street Bob 09.How are the fit and finish for both and what one is louder? thx
I have the black shortshots on my 09 Street Bob. Fit and finish is good, the ceramic coating scrachted a tiny bit during install but that was my fault not being careful with the clamps holding the heat shields on. As far as volume, they are loud but I have not heard the Bassani pipes.
screw em both go wiht the side shots.. look way better and not everyone at the bar will have the same pipes as you... plus you get a powerchamber with the side shots... can tweek the bike to get a bit more out of it with the right tuning
I would DEFINITELY go with the black pro streets!! Look sick, sound awesome, and from what I've heard, they give you pretty good performance. Don't get short shots man.. everyone and there grandmother have them on there bikes now days (not bashing anyone who has them, just saying they are to common). But again, its all up to you man. Your the dude with the money!
What about the new Bub Lakesters exhaust and the Jug huggers? How is the sound and power. So many choices I am leaning towards the Bassanis.Curious about the Bubs though.
I love my Bassani's. But on another active thread there was a fricking cool looking V&H 2-1 pipe that I have never seen before. But I am super happy with my pipes and they aren't something you see every day in my neck of the woods. I get alot of compliments on the way they look and sound. Here's the link for the pipes I saw on the other thread http://www.vhmotorsports.com/products/dynaoutlaw.html

+1 On the side shots.
I'm tossing it up between those and the black bassani pro streets, but the more I look the more I like the side shots. The short shots and radius are just overdone IMHO.
