Oil light flickers

I have a 1994 Dyna with 45,000 miles on it. I just fired it up after a long New England winter and after warm up the oil warning light flickers on and off. I feel as though there is something wrong with the sending unit, but I am not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Presumably you have checked you got plenty of oil? I would get it checked out properly. If it were a faulty sender, I would expect the problem to be there hot or cold. If it only flickers when it is hot (and the oil is thinner) then you could have marginal oil pressure. Not worth ignoring, in my opinion.

id change the sending unit first, then go from there, definetly not a problem to ignor, keep us informed please!

I just had it checked out and one of the oil lines became obstructed and was causing the low oil pressure. The Dealer cleared the blockage and flushed the system and oil pressure was restored.
Not bad, $150.00 total, a lot better than a new pump or even worse, a new motor!
