Sounds like the links would be a good investment. The rocker boxes look great, thats a winter time mod for me ( prob real soon LOL ) . Also if ya dont mind me asking , Is your bike fuel injected ? If so where did ya get the S&S air cleaner to fit ?
Again, thank you. I should have explained that I experience "rear steer", wobble or a general slopiness while at highway speeds or travelling quickly through long turns etc. A phenomenon experienced solely by me when riding this rubber mounted bike. These are the complaints I have that have been corrected. I couldn't be happier. With regards to movement, the motor moves front to back...no different than before. How much side movement do you think actually occurs at idle? This simply limits the motors movement to front to back and eliminates lateral movement when under a load......turning etc. Doesnt take much to get a 625 lb. bike with a 250 lb rider to flex the rearend in a turn even with my "chicken strips."

And I think reducing side-to-side movement on HD BT's possibly will have an adverse effect on sub-components such as exhaust brackets. Perhaps the new mounts will absorb all that energy, perhaps not. But it's going somewhere.

harley(sportster) and buell do this without long term adverse effects...
check out the link to the site I posted.
Glad to see someone try this and report on their findings. Especially with such a good review. I've been wanting to try this for quite awhile and just kept waiting for someone to step up to the plate and report some good news first. Everyone knows that I thrive on well handling dynas and FXRs...I've always done suspension upgrades, fork braces and even a steering dampener on my new dyna. The last piece of the puzzle was the tru-trac and now I think I'm gonna have to save up the coins and go for it. So thanks Muddy for the report.
Now, as for the "chicken strip" ....ever thought that maybe he wore down his last set and had new tires yet to be pushed that hard? I can speak from first hand experience...I've cleaned the chicken strips clean off of my dynas and hell yes...there's a lot of room for improvement. Rear steer, wobble...it's no fun at speed in a hard corner!
I've gotten my bikes a lot tighter from suspension and tire upgrades, but I'll be the first to admit, as nimble as dynas are...they're nothing compared to a FXR. The FXR was undoubtedly the best handling big twin to ever come from the factory. But I still believe the dyna can come close with the right mods. Hopefully, once I get a tru'trac on my latest build...I'll finally have my ultimate dyna!!
Thanks again Muddy!!!
