Do you believe there is a problem with high speed wooble in turns with the rubber mounted Dyna's?

If so, what product or fixes do you recommend.

Honestly, icecaps, I don't know if there is a problem with flex or not, at least I haven't experienced any. My FXD is completely stock. I know I'm not the fastest rider on the road but I throw this bike around pretty hard. All my experience has been on Japanese standards and sport bikes with a Ducati thrown into the mix. Frankly, I'm pretty impressed how stable and well-handling this bike is especially since it is 200 lbs heavier than the next heaviest bike I've owned. I was expecting it to be cumbersome - it isn't.

Getting more power out of the motor really doesn't interest me - if that were the case I would've stayed with imports. But I really want to get every last bit of handling I can. I've looked into the True-Track and other stabilization products but, like I stated in my first post, I think the money can be spent better elsewhere. I think proper wheel alignment, proper head bearing adjustment, proper tire inflation and, as Heldvr wrote earlier, no radical changes to frame/suspension geometry will prevent driveline flex if not outright eliminate it.

I haven't felt flex whatsoever.

I would say this True trac stabilizer probably does fix the Drive line flex problem and may even settle down a few vibes elsewhere.
Hell I might buy a set just so I can find out.
Considering I do ride mine hard enough to experience drive line flex.
Then I will report back.

All I know is that I was taking a 35mph left handed curve running about 70-75mph. My buddy that was behind me said he slowed down because he didn't want to run over my ***. He saw the rear end of my dyna wobbling pretty good. He asked me if I let off the gas & I said no, I actually gave it more gas....lol He's a really good rider & has been racing since he was 9 years old & now he's 38. His name is Todd Clagett & he now runs Clayton Cycle Performace where I also work part time on my days off from my reg. job. Here's a little something for you to read. http://www.aclagett.net/site/roadRace.htm also check out the pics, he's the one in the lead for every photo. http://www.aclagett.net/site/rrPhotos.htm A lady at the shop just had an Alloy Art put on her 08 Lowrider & Todd said he could tell a big difference in the handling. I rode it myself before it was installed (with her permission) & after & now it handles like it's on freaking rails. Way big difference than what it was before & it's brand new with only 2800 miles on it & we really do run a shop. www.claytoncycleperformance.com

I agree with only making statements if you can back it up with a before & after ride. I know how my bike rides & I'll let you know how it is after I get one installed. As for the customer at the shop, I rode it when she asked me to complaining of her bike & then rode it after the stabilizer was added.

Cant describe it but bike has an overall "solid" feel.
Good stuff if anyone is thinking about them.

Looks like an effective stabilizing system Muddy.

Have you got a better picture illustrating
the mounting points at the rear link??
