New engine mount stabilizers.......WOW!
I rode a Dyna Lowrider today at the shop that we put on an Alloy Art stabilizer. Product works really good & the bike is really nimble now & very responsive to rider input. Guess I'm gonna have to get one now but I keep looking at the True-Track also. I like how it has one up front & one in the rear also.
I don't have chicken strips on my 08 FXDB and yeah it wobbles a bit but they all do when ya push em thru a corner.
I don't have chicken strips on my sporty either.
So what is the verdict outa all this???
Are the true trac and sputhe stabilizers worth considering?????

been entertaining for sure....
got me wondering... how do chicken strips determine whether or not the rider corners hard or not???....
If you live say, in Florida, and ride 1000 miles and you have the good fortune of riding 5 or so of those miles on roads that allow you to really lean the bike hard wouldn't you still have chicken strips?
If your primary riding is done upright due to the nature of the roads, wear only indicates the majority of your riding. Certainly not the skills you have or how hard you ride your bike around corners.
If these stabilizers give the rider a more solid feeling bike and improve rider imput they are doing there job. This increased confidence one gets from their bike will translate into more enjoyment for the rider as he/she feels more stable and is willing to test the limits more.
Hell, everyone will be more comfortable testing their limits in a porsche over a lincoln. It's not about how hard one currently rides their bike, it's about how comfortable one feels about taking the bike to it's limits!

In the midst of all this 'dis'cussion, I have a question. Since just about as far back as I first joined this forum in 04/06 (diff. screename) people have been complaining about excessive vibration in the pegs of the current model dynas. I believe the problem was determined to be an improperly designed and overstressed front motormount. This was causing the bike to vibrate beyond the normal Harley amount and in a different manner, even making some riders' feet go numb.
Does this mod fix THOSE problems?

Fro Theguywhoposted.......I cant say if it cures the problem but I really do mean it when I say that the bike overall really does feel smoother. I did about 7,000 miles this season and the past few days (around 300 miles since I added mounts) it really is the best the bike has felt, im sure that translates into what feedback I get from the bike which would include vibration through the pegs/bars.
As far as Truetrack vs. Sputhe....I looked at the Sputhe and it appears to be the same design as the Truetrack (no measurements so not sure but appearance is similar) I not sure what the Sputhe is made of either. I didnt like the Alloy Art because it was only the rear for about the same price as the Truetrack front/rear and I dont like the idea of mounting it (Alloy Art) using the oil pan bolts vs. 3/8-16 bolts used to mount the Truetrack. Just my humble opinion.
The chicken strip dialogue while entertaining is useless as it has nothing to do with driveline flex but the lack of the them (strips) sure makes you badass .....NUFCED.

Just having a more confidence inspiring bike underneath me is enough to think these stabilizers are worthwhile to me.
" the lack of strips sure makes you badass" lol that or makes you a rider that rides curves more than straights.
