Check with Benito at Thunder Road in Hollister for the mounting brackets. I know he has a HD 1/4 fairing on his '06 Dyna.

I finally got the time to mount my night rod fairing on my 06 dyna, but not my bars yet. Thanks for the info last saint, and it looks bad a$$. I bought a new bare one off ebay for 60 bucks, and got the back mold from harley for about 15 bucks, and it sandwiched right on the stock headlight. I'll post pics when I get around to it!

[QUOTE=last saint;4017318]It won't help the wind at all. The fairing is too small and is mostly for aesthetic purposes. You don't need a nightrod headlight to attach it. I bought mine from Chicago HD for around $100 and then had it painted.
Part#68971-98B
And yes it will fit the newer dynas.QUOTE]

Did it come with the backing plate to mount? or did you need to purchase that separate?

I've got one of the Night Rod Fairings that I would be willing to sell. I do not have the cup that goes on the back of the headlight but like was said above it can be picked up for around $15-20.

The one I have is gloss black it does have a couple of scratches on the top from where the previous owner had a windshield over the fairing but I believe they could be buffed out.

If anyone is interested I'd be willing to take $70 including shipping.

Its a kit that comes with everything. The mounting cup, rubber seal, screws, and fairing.

I don't see why it wouldn't fit.. I mean, you've got the same headlight, right? If so, GO FOR IT!
