loud exhaust

Has anyone ever got tickets, or hasseld by police about loud pipes?

No , I have not. As long as you don't really get on it in a residental area an **** people off there really is never a problem. At least where I live. I have heard that in a city near by that there is a cop giving bikers repair orders, but I am sure that is for the ones that really get on it in town. I actually had quiet baffles in my exhaust and switched to the stock baffles.

Haven't ridden it yet. I was going to ride it to my local dealer on Friday but it was pouring rain so I just decided to haul it. Do you think it will make a big difference?

As long as you don't sit at a stop light and hammer it for 3 mins and make everybody around you hate Harleys you should'nt have an issue. However I hate riders who are always redlining each gear trying to blow people out and make a pain in the a$$ of themselves. It's going to come back and bite us. Please know when to shatter glass and when not to. It will pay off in the long run...and yes my bike is loud as hell however I try to use restraint when needed.
