Default Which Sissy Bar? (Medium Low vs. Low)

Here's the two I'm talking about...

Low

Medium Low

Trying to get something the passenger will find comfortable, while not going too high. As I understand it, there's about 3" height difference between the two.

The 'Low' will hit the passenger above the small of their back. My S.O. said it's pretty comfy.

The lower on the back, the more support for the passanger.

If you have a regular passanger, get the one that fits them best...and go with the detachable hardware, too.

my bar is a medium low. It's good .
one thing is having a low profile seat causes the pad to be too high.
we run without a pad as it provides more room and is more comfortable.
if you don't plan on having a rack I would get a haulen *** backrest !

I have the low with detachable hardware. Looks and works best IMHO. I am not a high sisisybar fan. Don't like the look.

The Low is higher than the Medium Low -I've had both on my bike.

Default Sissy Bar

I recommend the low. It'll give more support for the back and if you want to strap something to it, it gives you a lot more room for bungies or whatever. I had the medium low on my Sporty. It looked good, but wasn't as useful as the low on my FXDC. I've attached a picture so you can judge how it looks.

Good luck.

I'd think the medium-low would sit right at the lumbar height and the low would sit a bit above that. Am I right?
