Somethin' aint right
Well I picked up my bike today (an '08 FXD w/ ~4700 miles). Along with the 5K service, I made several changes:
SE A/C (the round one)
SE slip-ons
Amsoil
NGC Iridium plugs
I pulled OFF my Xied's
and Remapped the EFI with TTS Mastertune.
Seems to run fine, sounds better, but no noticeable improvement in power AND...
When I installed the Xied's I had the bike Dyno'd:
Before Xied's: Torque 78.91; HP 55.93
After Xied's: Torque 82.13; HP 60.93
So now with all the changes I just did (and Xied's removed):
Torque 81.83; HP 67.37
Underwhelming to be sure. I'm guessing that the problem is in the map. Even though I asked them to do a dyno tune, all they did was download a map from TTS, and load it on the bike then run it on the dyno.
Looks like I am headed to Portland (OR) in the Spring to have them tune it right.
