Brake pedal mod for mids
You need to do a little modifying of the existing pedal, and you can do this on the bike if you dont mind a bunch of dust flying.
Heres the pedal I got

The pedal pad has a stud on it, which makes life a little easier. The downside is it isnt long enough and you have to countersink the underside of the pedal to get the nut on the pad

Mark the area you have to remove to get the pad to fit. I chost the area nearest the arm to move the pad forward 1/4 inch and make for a cleaner look. I used a dremel cutoff wheel to hach the section out

Once the section is out, remove the high spots on the pedal to get the pad to sit flush. Using the chrome goodie I drilled the hole in the pedal. I tried to get a pic of the countersink on the bottom, but the pic didnt come out

then bolt the damn thing together. It took about 45 minutes to do the job, and it looks a whole lot better than the original (not that my craftsmanship is all that great. I wanted to go riding today and didnt feel like polishing the pedal shaft after I hacked on it)

Theres no doubt someone else here could do a much better job. But then, I aint in no beauty contest either.
