I got one of those too, my rear fender, 08 fat bob, went down to see a friend and had a travel bag strapped to the sissy bar and it rubbed the fender all the way i guess, left a half inch "smudge" into the clear coat, plus I have some rub marks from my saddlebags because Im too cheap to get ahold of some saddlebag brackets and just run throwovers. If you ride, its going to happen, and it bites when it does, but then you just keep on goin and enjoy regardless and sometimes doing the fix can be just as fun when winter hits.
