I am putting a stock wide glide frontend on my 03 lowrider and keeping my 19" wheel so do you think I will need to install a lowering kit in the forks since I will be running a 19" wheel
Thanks for any help
since the lowrider is already lower than the rest of the dynas, you might want to lower the front. but try it stock first.
if the tubes are a bit longer than your stockers, that's really not a problem. i dont know the length diff between the LR front and the WG front.
you will have more clearance.
your bike will turn a bit slower.
your bike will lean over more when on the jiffy stand. I suspect that since the LR already has a shorter jiffy than all other dynas, yours is going to lean way over on the stand.
try it first - if you don't like it then lower it.
I think you will want to lower it an inch. I had to lower mine two inches and it is still tall. My headtube is 28º though. with your headtube angle 1 inch will be good. you can do 2 to give it a more slammed look. Also the top triple tree sits lower than the stock 39mm front you have.. you'll see what I mean. This make the bike sit higher for the same length tubes.
