Angry aftermarket crap

i guess you get what you pay for i just fitted some switch housing covers on my wideglide. i spent hours messing with them to get them to fit properly even to the point of getting the drill out. they are alot cheaper than harley davidson stuff but is it worth the pain. what aftermarket crap have some of you lot had the misfortune to come across.

I hate to tell you but I usually have problems with everything I put on...
Harley or aftermarket.

Last thing was my forward controls, Genuine HD, Black.

the brake pedal bushing was too snug..
Took forever to get it smoothed out and working freely..

I did the same thing I bought some 40.00 switch covers and holes wouldn't line up and once I got them on the starter button stuck. I'll just spend the extra money now so I know they will fit

I purchased switch housings, clutch perch, and brake control with master cylinder from Rob's Cycle Supply on eBay. I think I paid $130.00 for the set-up. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they fit and how good they looked for the money.

Those look really good. He has the belt guard upper and lower and pulley cover for about $ 120.00. I'm really think'in about buying them. He also has the chrome cam cover. I bought highway brackets from him and they where decent.

Click your heels together and repeat after me - "there's no such thing as bolt on", "there's no such thing as bolt on", "there's no such thing as bolt on".

got a headlight from Easternperformance that after my 1st 20 min. ride had pitted chrome in the light behind the bulb. Modified the stock headlight to fit in the shell.

Robbs Cycle is a good place to buy.

I bought an upper and lower chrome belt guard form him. The upper was fine but the lower was a piece of **** that did not line up properly.

My money was promptly refunded.
