Has anyone tried using bar end mirrors? I've got a 04 fxdx with stock handlebars and mirrors right now. ž of the image in the mirrors are my shoulders. I can't seem to adjust them well enough to suit me. Joker machine makes some mirrors that mount on the end of the handlebars and there are some cheap ones on ebay too. Do these bar end mirrors work or are they just for aesthetics?

Reason: bad title
Here is some advise for anybody interested in doing the bar end mirrors.
The ones on my bike are Moto-delux. I do not recommend them. The mirrors them self are ok but the mounting hard ware that you get sucks. The metal thickness on the adapter is about as thick as soda can. After a couple time of messing with them the tabs on the adapter broke off. And no matter how tight I got the allen screw the mirrors would still come lose. So what I did is got some CRG adapter. The quality on them is far better Than the Moto-delux adapters. So the money I thought I was saving by going with the Moto-delux mirrors, I ended up spending on the CRG adapter. By the way if you have the HD grips with the removable cap on the end you will have to enlarge the holes to get the adapter in. If your grips don’t have the removable caps you will have to cut the ends off.
I just flipped my stock mirrors upside down and put them on the opposite side like some other people on here have done. with my drag bars I had the bend them a little bit but they work great and I can see better with them like that. Nothing in the way like my shoulders were when they were the stock way. Can post pics tomorrow when its light out.
for the life of me, the name escapes me but someone like performance machine (it's not though, or rc components) sells some. i was looking for some a last year. while a little on the expensive side, they are/were pretty trick.
