Default Need help with timing

Hey all,
Just recently finished installing my 103 kit. Now for the past two days we cant figure out how to PROPERLY adjust timing. On the new twin cams do you put the front piston at top dead center then install new cams and go from there? If anyone has the step by step instructions for this please help.

Thanks!

Here ya go. In a nutshell -

First of all, forget about the pistons.

Install cams in cam support plate,
with the timing marks aligned.

Install cam support plate,
then align the two sprocket marks
on the primary cam chain assembly.

Easiest if you just follow the Service Manual word for word.
