second off, most people get what appeals to the eye and the dyna is a pretty bike, besides if we all like the same thing we'd all be banging your old lady

i have my windshield and bag's on all the time.i ride two up 95% of the time and i like the way it look's ready for the road at all time's.but you are right about one thing the dyna is a very awsome bike in the basic. but it is also great looking if done right loaded.there is something about the dyna that alot of the other model's lack it seem's i think alot of it is that you can do so much to the dyna that you can't do to the rest.myself it is the best all around bike that harley make's.

one thing about the wideglide... it is the one Dyna that looks as good set up for touring as it does stripped down. Different style, but, the extra baggage does not look bad at all.

I've got bags and a Tbag that are not shown in the sig. I like mine both with and without. Just use the bags when i have to, I ride to work and need the space to carry the laptop and lunch. I guess for me it's not about the look as much as I just love to ride.

It's all personal preference. I like mine stripped down, but when the OL rides I have a 2 up seat and sissy bar that I mount for her. I'd like a set of throw over bags, but the single saddle is on 95% of the time so not sure how I'd hold it.

thats why they make all this stuff detachable. On day or overnight trips i'll put on the 2-up sundowner, sissy bar, rack and bag, saddle bags, and windshield. I'ts a bagger with *****. It all comes off when I get home.

I have different setups, depending on whether I will be riding 2 up or not, takes about 15 minutes to convert. The only thing I won't put on the WG is a windshield, I ride because I love the wind, even at 80, like they say, A Harley Rider knows why a dog sticks his head out the window.
I had a shield on my LowRider, but never really like it, so no more shields....

In my view the "ultimate" Dyna is the T Sport, as a long time Sportster owner, I wanted one --to pricey even used- so when the new TC Dyna came along I knew what I was getting, we now have 2 an 06 Bob, the wife's and an 07 FDX solo seats windshields and bags on the way, we ride the West Coast often taking off in the morning and stopping? if it is early we return home BUT a lot of the time we are to far from home and stop overnight, so bags will come in handy

Although on our Sporsters, we carried, a tent, sleeping bags, clothing for a week and other misc junk------no bags.
