Default 2006 Street Bob handlebars

I own a 2006 Street Bob and would like to replace the stock mini apes with a stock size chrome mini apes that are designed for internal wiring. I don't want to change the clutch, throttle and wiring. Internal wiring really cleans up look and stock size bars are comfortable. Can anyone help out with a part number or a good place to go. Joe (New Member)

Flanders 1 1/4" mini ape. Same size as current apes... internally wired ... perfect.

Why not just drill some holes and run the wires through your current bars?

HD sells a bar that is nearly identical in size to the stock Streetbob bar but 1 1/4 inch and predrilled for internal wiring. Same bar that came on newer Wideglides I believe. Dont know part # but if you look it up in the catalog or on HDs website its there. You could also order some stock bars for an 09 Bob which are now internally wired but they wont be chromed. Just a couple of more options...

In order to use the newer WG bars, you also have to change the risers.

Here is a pic of my 1" Flander's chrome bars. They come drilled and the exact same specs as the Street Bob bars. They retail for $140.00.

dealership can order the Flanders through Drag Specialties... JMPANCOAST's bars were the ones I was referring to above...Sorry thought they were 1 1/4". Check the price on the 09 streetbob bars should be same as you have only internally wired.

The chubby mini apes from the moco will set you back over 300 smackers by the time you by the bars and the risers.

bars: 56832-04 - 199.00
risers: 56916-07 - 109.95

I went with the stock 2009 Street Bob mini Apes. Tried to talk with the parts guy at my dealership and he was no help at all!!!! Should have known better. I talked with internet sales at Chicago H-D and he did the leg work and got them ordered for $80 and change shipped to the house. I will send in pics with I get it done.
