&*$%^#$ Battery Died

The bike's sleeping at the dealership tonight...should be charged and good to go by tomorrow afternoon. Picked up a trickle charger to keep this from happening again. Frustrating...took away my entire afternoon.

Did they do a charging system checkout just to make sure it's getting the charge from the stator and regulator?

Dead Battery

No...I really hope that's not it though. I'm pretty confident it's just the battery, but I guess I'll see tomorrow.

I wouldn't go too far until I verified that indeed the battery is being charged....

I already had to replace the battery on my 07 Street Bob and since I bought it in August 07 it has never went a whole week without being ridden. It was a demo bike though so who knows how long it sat or what abuse it got before I bought it.
The negative cable came loose a few times and made me have to jump start it after it had trouble starting and it even ended up melting the negative post. I loctited it finally and it never came loose again but it finally just died.
Bikes been running and starting damn fine since replacing it about a month ago.
