Default LED mixup

So I bought a standard 1157 LED replacement not knowing that they won't fit the bullet profile. After I got them and tried for about half an hour before admitting that they just wouldn't fit, I started looking online again and found the flat style LED turn signals specifically for harley. Of course they are around fifty bucks a pair vise twelve for a standard bulb LED replacement. How many others have swapped to LEDs and what did you all use?

Lightbulb Leds

Got them through the local Harley dealer. There is nothing on the bulbs themselves. I will run by there tomorrow and get the shinny on them for you all. The are good for 10,000 hours and I'm pretty sure they came from Drag Specialties.

Default cost?

How much did those cost? That definitely looks like what I wanted.

Default Led Bulbs

They are from Kuryakyn and are part #4801 and list in their catalog for $39.99. I'm almost positive they have to have a load equalizer. I use the one from Harley.

I have not seen any of these products, but it looks like there are more options. The prices sure are lower. It might be worth contacting them for more info.
