After some advice on what front tire I can put on my 07 Streetbob, I have a SE180 ready to go on the back and the front is due to be changed soon too and I would like to go a little wider. I dont know what the difference is between radial and bias ply.
What is the SE180 ? What are my choices that would go with it.
I was thinking maybe 110 or 120 but there is not much in the 19" rim, I saw a VROD 120/70 Dunlop D207 but thought the height would be no good and would it be too big for my rim ?
There is a 110/90 D404 Dunlop too and thought that would be my best option but it is a bias ply and dont know if it would go with the SE180.
As you can see I am after a fatter tire at the front and was wondering what's the fattest I can go without changing to a WG front end?? Any help appreciated.
The S.E.180 is not a radial tire and you don't want to mix tire types. I have a radial 120 on the front of the bike and it works great i.e. does not follow tar snakes anymore plus it corners incredibly well. BTW I have a 06 Street Bob.

Reason: add info
You can buy the matching tire for the front to go with the SE180 rear tire. The SE502F front tire is a little lower profile and appears to be a little wider. The tread wraps around the outer part of the tire a little farther. A good, sticky tire that compliments the rear tire,a very good tire in the rain.
