Taillight and Signals Not working

Taillight and Signals Not working
Am I going crazy or aren't the taillight and rear signals supposed to always be on. I was winterizing my bike this evening and after I added stabilizer and gas, I started it up for a few minutes. Headlight and front signals are lit. Taillight and rear signals are not. I applied brakes and that lit the taillight while I had it applied. Rear turn signals also worked properly. I have no idea how long this has been the case since I never get off the bike while it is running until tonight.
Any ideas???

Rear signals are only on when you signal unless you ahve the added module to turn them into running lights and brake lights. Sounds like you might need a new bulb in your brake light. I had the module for the signals and stuff and when everything stopped working back there i removed the module and everything worked fine again.

Thanks, that seems easier than anticipated. I thought that since the signals were on all the time in front that they were supposed to also be on from the rear. I will replace the bulb and thank God that I caught that before someone ran up my a$$ at night!

i have an o7 street bob. that is exactly how my lights are, no running lights, only break and turn signal. my dad has an 07 super glide custom and he has the running lights on his. they make them both ways.
