Elecl Panel Cover Interchangeable? FXD/WG
Does anybody know if the chrome electrical panel cover on an 05 Wide Glide or Low Rider interchange with with the gloss black panel cover on the 05 Super Glide? My dealer said he believed so, but could not be sure. The Low Rider/ Wide Glide panel looks the same as the one on my Super Glide, even down to the phony hex fasteners.
HD's online accessory catalog doesn't show the OEM chrome panel as a direct fit but does show a Chrome Electrical Panel Cover with Trim, PN 66426-04. Thanks, but no thanks if it fits as well as the foward control shift linkage cover "from the workshop of Wyatt Fulmer".

Confirmed, the chrome Low Rider electrical panel for model years 04 and 05 are a swap for the black painted panel on the Superglide for 04/05. Cost is $81.55, Chrome PN is available from the dealer.
