gonna do some stuff to the bike

Any issues with fitting a FXDWG tank and rear fender on a FXD? Are the mounts pretty much the same for the 2002 model years?

Tank should fit, I think the holes wont line up on the feder tho'.

Check the width of the rear fender frame struts... the FXDWG fender is likley to be wider than the FXD, but not sure on the 2002???

Went to the HD site and checked out the painted accessories...fender should fit from 2002-2005s:

Looks like I'm getting the wide glide tank for 50 bucks. However it is for a fuel injected bike. Mine is carb. Someone told me I need to get a "plate" for it to work. Can anyone tell me what this is?
