Fender Fitment
To start with I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcome that I received. I know that it's going to be great to be part of this community. Forgive me if I overlooked the answer to my question. I did use the search function but couldn't find what I was looking for. I had an encounter with a deer about a month ago and had to lay my bike down as a result. Yea, I know. Bummer. I was sick about it as I only got the bike about three months ago. Anyway, the rear fender was damaged along with the fuel tank receiving several dents. I have a 2003 FXDL and have the opportunity to pick up a rear and front fender for a grand total of $120.00. They are off a 2001 Super Glide and my question is about fitment. I'm confident someone here has the answer. Again, thanks for the welcome.

The 01 gas tank will fit with no issues, in 02 HD went with a wider rear fender to accommodate the 150 rear tire, if the bike is an 01 FXDX or FXDXT then it would have the wider fender and will fit your 03, hope this helps.Fenders from 02-05 will fit

Thank you Robtarra39 for your response. I found these fenders in the local classifieds and waiting to hear from the owner. Really hoping they will work as I feel that's a pretty fair price. Once again, thanks.
