I have them and my thoughts are that they are too loud and with out heat shields they are damn hot.

i have them in Black on my 07 Street Bob. I love the sound and performance. They are a little hot but I can live with it. The black finish is pretty crappy. I sent them back twice under the 1 year warranty but they look bad again within a couple of months. They claim that jet hot does the coating for them. I would recommend VH if you want a black finish that can hold up over time.

I have the Bassani pro 2 into 1. I love my pipes. They sound great, they perform great. The coating on my has held up good. The only section that turned gray is on the front cylinder down tube. And that is because I sprayed that section with high heat paint. but the factory finish still looks good. One bad thing about them is they do get really hot. But from what I have noticed most 2 into 1 run hotter than 2 into 2.

Had them, loved the sound, but DAMN THEY GOT HOT!!!!!!!!!! To the point, where I couldn't take it anymore. They performed decent.. My thunderheaders perform better, so I'm glad I switched. But they seriously heat up really, really hot man. Just take that into consideration. They sounded GREAT though. I think they were my favorite sounding pipe that I've had on my Harley. The black paint was garbage. Started to flake after a month.

from what people are saying I think a D&D fatcat, thunderheader, or supertrapp 2-1 would be best IMHO.

Is anyone using it?

That's not necessarily the case. I have the Bassani Pro-Streets and they too run very hot. I think you'll find that to be the case with all of Bassani's products.

Thanks guys. Would wrapping the headers help with the heat at all? I would be getting them for free, so I am not too picky, but they are the black coated ones, and they are brand new.
