No I would not do it. If you want a chopper you purchased the wrong bike.

Been Jiggen and weldin my own frames since most here still in Diapers..
I tried one on my Softail just fer grins.. Ya know what.. 30k and 2 years later..
Bike still handles like a dream at all speeds ...Front end still rock solid.. Down side is I don't care for the look of the rake without a little stretch as well..

I do make it a habit. that If I havent personally worked on one, rode one, or installed one...... Of anything
.. I keep my mouth shut.. Cuz otherwise it's just more Hot air... IMO

That can look cool for some bikes, but I just don't think it meets the intent of the Fat Bob at all.

I think it bad @$$,looks sweet, the only thing is i think thier parts suck, i would buy some better looking trees etc. looks like alot of people have thier opinions here also, but remember they are only opinions.
If i had two bikes i would do something like that!

PastorTomi think that the WG looks sick with a bit more of a rake to it... that bike has the right lines for it... a FATBOB does not... of course IMO

Nope..
My response was aimed at the ...

"dyna mo that's not a chopper, it's a bike with a cheapass raked frontend kit"

and..

JRK5892 this idea makes babies cry.... you should feel ashamed

and..

sniper77 While I always scoff a bit @ raked fork/triple tree kits, that brand is particularly hideous.
Kinda like puttin lipstick on a pig...or in this case a HOG!

I have experiance with them on Dyna's as well..(Lowrider & Wideglide)They have had exactly the same experiance I did..

+1 with the Pastor....
Did some one say cheap piece of crap?
Mines made out of real steel and was anything but cheap, HD triple trees are made outta beer cans, thats cheap crap.
I would slap one on there in a heartbeat, handling is much improved over stock, except ya need a little more room to turn it around.
My FXD handles more like a real motorcycle than a wheelbarrow now.
If your askin' you obviously like the old school chopper look.
Opinions are varied, I dont like some of the things I see either, but I try to
keep my negative comments to myself.

I've been riding for 34 years, and I've owned all types of motorcycles.

No offense... but choppers are the one type of bike that have never, ever made one bit of sense to me...

Those who like 'em, like 'em... but I ain't one of them.

Don't do it.
