If you go with either Sears jack (yellow or red) you'll want to get the HD adapters as well...they keep the bike level on the lift. I picked mine up at the dealership.

Default Lift

I have the red one which everybody likes to bitch about but it works fine for me. Never had a problem with it. If it was me and I had to choose between the silver and the yellow one, I would spend the extra 37 bucks and get the yellow jack. The red on I got for $68.00 and I have seen it on sale for $48.00. It is made in China so there were a few issues when the assembly was done but no worries since then.

Oh no - not another one of these threads - lol.

I have the much maligned red jack. Any of them will work. Make sure the weight rating well exceeds the weight of your bike, make sure it has a safety stop, and either get the HD dyna frame adapter kit or use something homemade to level the frame on the lift.

Yeh, Sears Motorcycle/ATV lift. They used to carry 2 - a yellow one and a red one. Apparently now a grey one has appeared. The yellow one costs more and the red one has taken a beating on this forum for a while. As in most cases, the more you spend, the better quality you get. But I and many people here use and have used the red one and have been very satisfied with it and don't feel there is any reason to bash it. I use it on my ATV, my HD, and my kid's dirtbike and have never had a problem with it.

I bought the red one and loved until it simply died one day. The air release valve stopped working and now it won't pump up. Oh well. I guess you get what you pay for.
