I think you are probably right Dyna mo. I did not like hitting the limiter. I am still using Dinosaur juice in the crankcase just to help in the last few hundred miles of run in. I ran the bike a few times pretty hard several times during the initial run-in, but never came close to the limiter. Changed to synthetic lube elsewhere at 1,000 miles. Just hit 1,500 miles and am going to change the crankcase oil this week to synthetic Amsoil 10W-40. I will change the oil to 20W-50 in late spring as the air temps increase. I like using the thinner oil in the cool of fall and winter, additionally, the oil cooler keeps the oil temps down.
Mudpuddle....
I used a Nikon Coolpix S60 the other day for the most recent video.
On the Ducati, a Nikon S7C was used.
The S60 is more up-to-date than the S7C,
but I get better results when using a camera mount on a vibrating MC with the S7C.
Probably something to do with image stabilization in the S60.... the image jumps around A LOT with the S7.
I think that made sense.
Thanks for the info CL.
How many minutes of video can you record with that S60/S7C??
Went to the Nikon site, and I did not see the S7C,
(you say it only works well when using a mount??)
there is a S710 there.

The S7C is probably out of production, but still available lots of places online.
It works better than the S60 when using it on a Ram mount, the vibes of a motorcycle do not affect the S7C as much.
Probably take about 19 minutes of video on the older S7C and 30 minutes on the S60.

I've heard lots of good feedback on the coolPix camera.
gonna go ahead and get one.
