Default Cable lengths

right now i have the stock mini apes on my 08 street bob and the old lady bought me some 16" z bars for christmas, my qustion is does anyone remember the lengths of all the cables and wirings or have any advice to the installation. Got a price quote from a dealer and it was like over 400 for just the labor itself!! i told them to go F themselves.

You can pull up your specific model in the Genuine Motor Accessories section of www.harleydavidson.com and look a multi-fit cables. There you will find a chart which provides stock lengths for your cables and lines.

There is a company called Novello who makes wire extensions to match the harnesses on your bike. You can also buy new switches with extended wiring attached for under a hundred bucks.

I bought my cables thru dennis kirk and saved a lot of money on the parts. The installation is worth $400 easy.
