Just put a set of rush 2.00 slip ons on my 2008 fxd super glide and it will take some getting use to the louder sound coming from these pipes now.Much louder than the stock set up, and i have noticed a power gain especially in the mid range area of the power curve.I cranked her up in the garage this afternoon with the garage door still closed while gettin ready to head to the airbase then hurried like hell to get the door opened so i could get the bike backed out into the driveway ! [ my dog is 17 years old and freaks from loud noise ]
Also installed a detachable sissy bar set-up which was a lot easier to install than i thought it would be. The kit comes with everything you need including heat shrink wire connectors etc.Pretty slick set-up and i am glad i decided to get one of these type attachments. I can turn the bike from single seat around towner to a two up long trip cruiser in just a few minutes. Also have a quick detachable wind shield on order that should be here friday, which should pretty much complete my touring package for this bike.90% of my riding is solo local area, but these additions will come in really handy for road trips up to chattanooga with the wife, and up to south jersey in the springtime.
Brother i have no idea how to post a picture onto a computer, wish i was computer savy but i am not. Only cameras i have are 35mm type that use actual old school film, ain't got one of them digitized type cameras. I have two kids in college that are smart about computers, maybe i will get them to teach me how to put a picture into a computer.
