HD makes zion (or at least sells them) for the other dynas, I'm actually looking for something like that. or at least a brighter light, I ride at night a lot it would help. I would like a part # for a bulb that has been trid successfully by someone. The link was nice but not definitive.

Is it difficult to do the cross-reference, and get the correct Silver Star bulb to fit a Fat Bob? May sound like a stupid question, but I've never looked at the cross-reference charts to buy a Silver Star bulb for a Dyna. I did find a rebate for Sylvania bulbs at:

You're thinking of Xenon (pronounced "zee-non"), and there's a lot more to it than a simple bulb swap. Go with the suggestion of SilverStars - they have a shorter lifespan than stock, but they are brighter.

What you need to know first, is the type of bulb fitted. This is typically called H4, or something similar. My old Glide used H4, my Firebolt has two H3.
Once you know the fitting, simply Google car bulb suppliers and chose your poison! I have just received my Osram 'Night Breaker' bulbs that I will be fitting to my Buell. I already have a factory HID unit on my Glide, but don't recommend it.
Look for the bulbs that give the highest temperature, typically 2,000 degrees or higher. HID gives around 6,000 as I recall, but 4,000 deg is possible from the better replacements.
Be wary of going to higher wattage, as the wiring may not be up to providing it without over-heating.
