Just got my bike painted. Agonized for 2 months on what type of ghost flames I wanted. Decided on 2 different shades of blue on a black base. Just as I was headed off to the shop my daughter told me she liked the silver and blue. I listened to her.

Think I should have stuck to my guns. I did not want it quite as bright. I wanted the flames to "pop" in the sun which is exactly what happens with the blue. Silver is a bit much for me. But other folks are telling me the silver is what makes it. What do you think?

I like it. If you want to tone it down, you could have the painter shoot a blue candy over the whole thing. ... but it will cost you.

 

I think it looks good but I do think I would of liked your idea better.

Either way...It is slowly growing on me. The painter is a guy in Merced California that has won some awards for his painting. But this is considered mild for him....lol.
