You need 2 bikes one for the haul and one to hop around

I am in southern pa, but I liked my wide glide so if I get another bike it will be a wide glide (not a lot different then a fxdi but I like the bob fender, wider front, gauges not on bars ect).

Bigger is not always better. Matter of fact, bigger can be downright cumbersome

Maybe in a few more years I'll think about a Street Gllide...
I am 52 and my Dyna is my first Harley. I've also been considering a bagger, but I have limited space in the garage, so moving a bagger around would be a pain. Around town and short trips (which is how I mostly ride), the Dyna is great. Plus, it's paid for. I may add bags and a bit more chrome and ride it for a few more years. I think you lose some of the riding experience as you move up into the touring models. If you can afford it, owning both is the way to go.

I have a Low Rider and Road King Classic. The King handles beautifully but it's not the same as the dyna...which is a true sport cruiser. Both great but different. Gotta have one of each...

I say to heck with it and buy a second bike.
If you cant go that route, strip all that extra BS off, put a sporty front end on it, and you'll almost have another Dyna.

Thats the way we used to do it a long time ago
