Default Big Shot Tips

Has anyone heard of making tips for the V&H Big Shots???....I like the pipes and all but would like a curved style tip to add to the pipe...doesn't looki like much room to add a tip. Hopefully you guys have some info regarding this. It may hve to be custom but please let me know either way.

Thanks brothers

A good idea that I've never thought of. Could make for a cool look and totally customize your exhaust. Would you want to chrome your tips to match the rest of the pipe, cause not all chrome looks the same, considering if there is a nickel or copper bath step before the chrome and how much polishing takes place after all the electroplating. Sounds like it's worth some looking into.

Sorry 04 Wide Glide..Fuel Injected bike info....left that part out....anyway I was thinking to either go chrome or maybe painted black similar to the bike...could look weird but haven't seen one and thought maybe it may look neat. I just need to try and get it modded...seems very hard and I have like almost 0 metal skills...sweet huh?

Maybe a good TIG welder could fab you up some curved tips that you could run at any angle you wanted. Out to the side, down, or up. Some exhaust comes with tips that fit inside, there's no reason why it would need to be welded to the pipe unless you wanted it to look like all one original piece. Could be a good way to add another baffle or homemade torque cone, or a whistle tip. What's a whistle tip? Watch "THE VIDEO THAT STARTED IT ALL" right here, http://www.ebaumsworld.com/bubbrubb.html

Are you talking about the Big Shot Staggereds? The ones with the slash down tips?

The tips on those are removeable. There's a hex bolt holding them on phrom the underside. It could be removed, so if you phabricate something to go in it's place, then yes, it certainly could be done.

You can get different tips from Dennis Kirk, the only ones though are front facing. For the Big Shot staggered. I got them and I really like them.
