Default Light problems, Any ideas?

When I turn on the key all the lights come on and work.... but when I hit high beam the turn lights both glow in the speedo.... when I hit the left or right blinker the opposite turn light glows in the speedo..... all the lights work and flash like they should... it's starts and run normal.... just don't understand whats up with the lights in the speedo.....

anybody have any ideas?

Thanks a lot, Donnie

keep in mind this is ONLY an idea but I worked on cars for 18 years and you would be surprised at the problems that can be caused by a double filament bulb, such as #1157 or #2057 when the two filaments touch together inside. I would probably start pulling one bulb at a time and testing to see if the problem goes away to try and isolate it. Just a suggestion. I could be way off base.

Sometimes Lights glow when a circuit is searching for a good ground. clip a jumper wire to the headlight housing and to the neg battery post.......see if the problem goes away

If you lowered the back end any it's quite possible the wires under the rear fender are shorting out. What have you done last to the bike prior to the hi beam probs?
