Advice on wrapping pipes

I bought a pair of used 2 into 2 big radius black pipes for my 07 street bob. I am going to wrap them, they are not on the bike yet. What size wrap whould I buy (1 or 2 inches wide)? Should I use a coating? What brand wrap is the best?

Nick, I like the 2 inch ThermoTec along with their Hi Heat Coating

Soak the wrap for a few minutes first, makes it very workable, and a very tight finish!

Nick, if you place [img] directly in front of your link to your sig and [/img] directly at the end of that same statement, your sig will display properly.
like this, without spaces:
