Stupid Gas Gauge!!!

My gauge wasn't real accurate when the bike (2006 FXDI) was stock. Then I added a tank lift and the gauge was worthless.
I ended up getting rid of my gauge and put a new ignition switch in its place. Figured the space ought to be occupied by something useful. The trip odometer serves me much better.

The guage on my 07 FXDWG was way off from day one. would read less than 1/4 tank and take 2.8 gallons. I changed out to the HD led [skull guage , had the gas cap free]
with the 2" lift installed it varries . With the red light lite and some flashing takes 3.8 gallons.
