Here is what my bike looks like with 11" Progressive 412 Heavy Duty shocks...



Notice the bottom edge of the fender is right at the edge of the rim, tucking the tire all the way under. I weight 230 lbs. I have 7/8" clearance at the top of the tire when I am sitting on it. With the shocks at the factory set "middle" position, I have yet to rub/bottom out.

If you ride 2-up, 11.5 inch shocks is the lowest you really want to go.

Trust me, shocks are a nice thing to have.

Trust me, shocks are a nice thing to have.
Ya!!! I saw this guy on a Rigid going through an intersection and he hit 2 small potholes and he and the bike literally shot up into the air!! I could see the pain in his eyes as he bounced!
