Has anyone used these type of marker lights on a Dyna? If so do you know if they are single or dual element?
I have them on my Night Train (which has a Wide Glide front end). They are single filament, single wire. They use the mounting bolt as the ground return.
Not sure about good looking, but I have a set of those...
I'm going to say they are dual element. When the bike is on, they act as running lights. I don't think you normally do that with a single element.
Thanks for posting the pic. That is exactly what I wanted to see. Mr.Lucky said his only has a single wire. Is yours working as blinkers and running lights all on just a single wire. I guess I am mentally challenged enough to not understand how that would work. I'm not sure I will go this route since I planned to get a toolbag to put right in that location, but I do like the profile of that setup.
I see all you Dyna folks that have that set up and I really like it. I have one on order and I am going to try to mount under the head light at the tree on my street glide.
I have not seen a bager with that set up and I think it would really clean up the front end and get rid of the stock turn signals.

There is a single wire per side (left & right). I had a brain fart when I said dual element - only 1 wire per side. And yes, they are running lights in addition to directionals.
Did you consider placing the tool bag down low? Right under the voltage regulator? Just a thought...

They only act as running lights if you have something like the Kuryakin run-turn-brake module installed. Mine do not function as running lights.
