Well, I had mentioned that I might be getting a settlement from my ex wife because of my divorce. That is still pending, BUT... I have been informed that I am being bought out of the few shares of stock that I possess from a company that I worked for for 10 years !!! They said that I should definitely have my money, or roll over which ever I choose by no later that June 30th. WOW. So the logical thing for me to do is go and sit on every bike that looked appealing to me. The wide Glide is still on the top of the list, also I liked the low rider but it would have to get the forwards. The salesman was real cool, he told me that for pipes all that I'd have to do was get the S.E. slip ons no adjustments to the fuel mapping would be needed if I kept the stock air cleaner on. Is that true ? also for the price, with slip ons, and sissy bar, o.t.d. was 19,000. What do you think. The color was two tone Harley orange and black.
Go talk to the service manager before you do any mods. If you change anything on a closed loop fuel injected bike you should get a new map for that accessory. That sales guy will be spending his commission when your bike is running too lean and you are all pissed off. Better yet, call the service people at 2 or 3 dealers and see what they tell you.
Thought about doing the same thing last time I got downsized out of a job. CPA talked me out of it ,said I'd only net about 63 percent after taxes and penalties to the feds, if I didn't roll it over. Still it was tempting.

That 19000 is the WG right??? I would just spring and extra couple hundred bucks and get the stage 1 with the slip-ons. It'll give you a little boost in performance, and they'll do a download..so you'll know you're running right. That's just my opinion.
