I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have a 2006 Dyna Super Glide Custom. I have put on a side mount licenses plate that looks sweet! I would now like to add the detachable sissy bar but i need to relocate the rear signals first. HD's relocation kit mounts them to the license plate bracket but i dont have one now since i have the side mount.
Any ideas?

Harley makes what they call a rear signal relocation kit, but it is really a signal remounting kit. There are two holes on the rear of the strut which the signal use. One hole is for the mounting bolt, the other is to run the wires from the signal to the underside of the fender.
The remount kit moves the signals back only using the rear hole. It provides mounting stalks which are hollow. The wiring runs through the hollow mounting stalks to the underside of the fender. The stalks ave a poly bushing on the outside used as the rear mounting point for the detachable side plates.
The part number for this docking hardware/remount kit should be listed on Harley's website under the listing for for the detachable sideplates for your model.
