Wow, those Fat Bob shocks look great on a Wide Glide. What do they list for?
Fits '07-later FXD, FXDC, and FXDWG models. Stock on '08-later FXDF. Fits but does not lower '07-later FXDL and FXDB. '07 DynaŽ models require separate purchase of Chrome Belt Guard Kit P/N 60633-08. Does not fit with Detachable Saddlebag Kit P/N 90181-08.
I used the 11" shocks and then added the 1 3/4" lowering blocks to my '07 Wide Glide. I ride single all the time but I`ve had no problems with clearance inside the fender. I`m running V&H Big Radius pipes and have some flat spots on them from corniering hard, but other than that no problems.
Been checking out ebay...some dude has 11.5" progressive 412's for sale. Not sure if I believe they are 412's though. I've checked and rechecked the progressive site and no where do they list that model shock in an 11.5" length.
I've had heavy duty 412's on my old bike (late 70's metric) and they rocked.

I have seen those 11.5 412's on ebay too. Could be legit, or could be a scam. I would call progressive and see whats up.
Back on topic... I think wide glides look weird slammed in the rear. Kinda like a "sinking ship", unless the bars are done right with a tank lift. Like KTM Scott's bike. I say stick with the stock height Sclonghair. It will look better and perform better as well, IMHO.

I appreciate that DH. I probably will swap out the oem shocks for a set of Progressives and will take your suggestion to heart,
i personally would not go less than a 12" shock. A 12" 412 from eastern performance.
Pinoy's bike looks perfect with the 12" shocks and he will not run into any clearance problems and get to still maintain ride quality. These 11" shocks have so little travel, It is like going from a lincoln to a honda civic ride wise.
